Still Here

I know I've announced my return and failed to continue posting. I have been quite busy. My shift will be rotating to swing shift next month and I hate the idea of it.

Swing shift is our worst shift because that's when all the bad things happen. The inmates have from 6pm to 9pm to find ways of bothering you before they are locked down for the night. Serving dinner trays will be one of the worst parts of the shift as well. I have enjoyed day shift when all I have to do is give them two sandwiches, chips and cookies.


I haven't had anything majorly funny to post on so far. The only thing I can think to comment on is, don't get arrested for stealing a Slurpee then come to the jail and mouth off if you can't defend yourself physically. We have someone in custody for stealing a Slurpee who has had his ass kicked twice in two days because he mouths off to the other inmates and when it turns physical he gets beat.
